A generous grant by the Helmsley Foundation has allowed the establishment of the Stem Cell Core Facility at Columbia University, a new multi-service production and characterization facility at Columbia University Medical Center. The Stem Cell Core Facility is now fully operational. We are a center of excellence in the generation, maintenance and supply of pluripotent stem cell lines as well as functional, mature, highly purified cardiac, and neural-derived cell types derived from them. We also offer support for the functional evaluation of these cells through Ca2+ imaging and electrophysiology-based characterization studies. We can also help you with gene targeting using CRISPR-Cas9.
