Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons ranks among the top five medical schools in the county in terms of selectivity, based on such factors as the MCAT scores and grade point averages of our entering students. Of 6,227 applicants to the class of 2014, 1,253 were interviewed and 314 were accepted. Entering students in the class of 2014 had an average MCAT score of 35.7 and an average GPA of 3.78
