The Columbia Center for Eating Disorders is sponsoring an exhibition by artist Judith Shaw, “Body of Work: The Art of Eating Disorder Recovery.”

“Body of Work” is a sculptural diary of life with an eating disorder. Assemblage-style forms, made of everyday materials, reveal the complex issues underlying anorexia and the challenges of recovery.

The show, which is open to the public, runs through April 13, 2011, in the first floor atrium of the Herbert Pardes Building, Psychiatric Institute, 1051 Riverside Drive.

Hours are 9 am to 5 pm daily; photo ID required.

The Center for Eating Disorders brings together clinical, research and educational expertise and resources to provide comprehensive and compassionate treatment for recovery and lifelong health. For more information, call 212-543-5739 or visit www.columbiacenterforeatingdisorders.org.
