The Oral Maxillofacial Surgery (OMFS) track is a 6-year program for two dental school graduates per year to earn a MD degree at P&S in this condensed program and complete training in the Oral Maxillofacial Surgery Residency Program at New York Presbyterian Hospital.  After graduation from dental school, they begin the program with 6 months of oral surgery residency, and then enter medical school in January, beginning with Fundamentals 2.  They complete medical school in 2.5 years and then return to the Oral Surgery Residency Program for the remaining time.
